I am currently once again embarking on one of those lovely, harrowing, mind-boggling decisions: selecting a new stylist. Seriously, this is a major endeavor. Most of my previous stylists have butchered my hair in some way or another.

Not that I blame them, with my hair; it’s naturally wavy, extremely thick, and tends towards frizz at the first sign of humidity. Bad hair days appear most days of the week during the summer. It grows fast. It’s not uniformly wavy, and one side lies straight while the other curls. Nightmare.

Anyway, I had found a stylist up here who managed to keep my hair under control, and thus was happy - but she disappeared without a forwarding address, and I’ve been dealing with temporary situations (getting it done at my parents’, one harrowing trip to MasterCuts) until now. Right now, I’m going over the yellow pages looking for a place to get chopped on Friday.

Any Madison people out there with suggestions?
