Today’s Halloween, of course, which means tomorrow’s the first of November.  This fall’s been flying by - I’ve been in the new apartment almost three months now, and I still haven’t unpacked my dvds and vhs tapes.  But that’s not the point of this post.

November happens to be the month when thousands of people steel themselves for the insane task of trying to write a 50,000 word novel in thirty days.  Yes, it’s NaNoWriMo time, and while I’ve technically participated the last two years, this year I hope to at least make it all the way through without throwing in the towel.  I won’t be doing a novel but instead a short story collection centered around a common theme.

Point is, I’ll probably be spending most of my free time writing or procrastinating, so blogging will likely fall by the wayside for the most part.  I hope to post a couple of times this month, but by and large I expect it to be a quiet month at Data Obsessed.
