TangognaT has a great, amusing post about Library 2.0 and the next wave Library 360!

I guess what’s bothered me about the whole 2.0 thing is that I don’t see the integration of blogs, wikis, social software and the like as being such a radical departure. For me, librarianship is and always has been about integrating new things - new technologies -that may be of use to patrons, whether that be OPACs, databases, internet @ the library. 2.0 tech is, at heart, More Useful Stuff. The snazzy Library 2.0 name strikes me as rather empty, and frankly confusing, not only to the non-tech savvy librarians we work with, but also to some of us who actually consider ourselves to be somewhat technologically inclined.
